Affordable Housing Market Study
This was a pro-bono study that Sean Garretson did when he was with another firm, for the revitalization corporation that he chairs. The study focused on the affordable housing needs of East Austin residents (zip code 78702). The study suggested that the biggest demand for affordable housing is senior housing. In response to this study, the Chestnut Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation (CNRC) acquired land in East Austin, and applied and received funding in the amount of nearly $3 million for a 22-unit senior housing project.
