    Hill Country Scenario Mapping
    Central Texas (2008)
Developed several maps illustrating the results of 22 more years of the same type of growth patterns as the period from 2000-2004. We examined the positive and negative impacts of that growth and illustrated it with maps, photographs, and illustrations depicting the impacts. These visuals were used along with numerical results of the growth such as number of acres lost to farmland/agriculture, the additional water consumption necessary and the corollary impact on surface and groundwater quantity and quality. The economics of growth is an additional study being discussed that will examine the growth's impacts on tourism, recreation, and industries such as viticulture.
